SAMBORT is more than a name. It represents the foundation and operating principle on which the organization was built.

The name is derived from the first letters of five family members who shaped the values behind the firm: Sali, Mathai, Binu, Bindu, and Thomas

At the center of this structure was Sali — the mother of the family. While her role was within the home, her contribution reflected a deeper principle. She functioned as the coordinating force who ensured that multiple responsibilities, priorities, and individuals remained aligned and progressed together.

She managed complexity across people, decisions, and responsibilities with clarity and consistency — not through control, but through coordination.

The founder of SAMBORT Group, Thomas Mathew, observed this closely over many years.

What he observed was not simply a mother managing a household. What he recognized was an operating principle: complex systems function most effectively when there is a single coordinating center aligning multiple moving parts.

He carried this observation into over a decade of industrial business development experience across engineering, oil & gas, and infrastructure sectors.

In industry, he consistently encountered the same structural challenge — fragmentation. Businesses relied on multiple vendors across strategy, sourcing, engineering, and technology, with no unified coordination, resulting in inefficiencies and lost momentum.
